Legal Advisor

DriveNets is looking for a dedicated Legal Advisor to join our team, located in Ra’anana, Israel.

In this newly created role, the Legal advisor will be part of the finance team.

Responsibilities:

·        Act as a main point of contact for all in-house legal queries and issues providing general counsel.

·        Employment: Provide advice and counseling to the company’s HR department with respect to employment-related matters.

·        Regulatory: Provide legal counsel in connection with export controls and other regulatory matters.

·        Support the Company’s expansion into new markets, including establishing new foreign entities and compliance with local employment laws

·        Manage patent and trademark portfolio. Inform on copyright and trade secret issues and API licensing.

·        Corporate: General corporate work, including management of the company’s Israeli subsidiaries, M&A, corporate governance and compliance.

·        Licensing: Review license agreements, negotiate with licensors and provide legal counsel in connection with open source software.

·        Commercial: Review, draft and negotiate software licensing, consulting, channel and other agreements in support of commercial transactions.

·        Employment: Provide advice and counseling to the company’s HR department with respect to employment-related matters.

·        Have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

 

Requirements

Requirements:

·        JD, member of the Israel Bar. 

·        2+ years’ experience at a major law firm, and 2 years’ experience in-house, preferably at a technology/software company

·        Experience with IPO and M&A – An advantage

·        Ability to draft contracts that address complex issues.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.

·        Excellent judgment, attention to details and ability to work independently.

·        Experience coordinating with a variety of audiences, including leadership, technical, and scientific teams, and communicating across cross-functional areas
